He was born October 31, 1961, in Minot, North Dakota to John and Betty Froshaug. He was the youngest of 3. At an early age Jay moved to Colorado. He settled in Longmont where he raised his 3 children with Kristi Wirtz. In 1994 he started his own company Saxe Structures. Jay was passionate about his work as a Civil Engineer. In 2016 Jay married Mandy McMichen. Jay’s family was his top priority. He was a dedicated father, step-father, and grandfather.
Jay had a vision of spreading gratitude to others and with the help of his wife, Mandy that vision became a reality with TUG4All (www.tug4all.com). Jay was a man that would give the shirt off his back and was always helping others, sometimes to a fault. Jay made friends wherever he went and was the life of the party. He made everyone feel like his best friend. Jay exemplified the concept of family first. His favorite weekends consisted of “Sunday Funday” in which he cooked huge meals for everyone, and was always heard saying “the more the merrier.” His family extended far beyond his own! Jay’s heart belonged to his grandchildren and they loved him just as he loved them. He had strong values of humility and there was not a challenge he wasn’t willing to take on. Jay added fun to the most mundane activities and life will not be the same without him.
Jay joins his mother Betty. He will continue to be loved and deeply missed by his Father John Sr. Siblings, John Jr. (Willadee) Froshaug and Jane (Marty) Anderson. Wife, Mandy Froshaug. His children’s mother, Kristi Wirtz. Children, Ryan (Desiree) Froshaug, Anna (Chris) Hood, Emily (Tyler) Rose, Kindle (Tyler) Rister. His grandchildren Payton, Ella, Felix, Dax, Mason, Adalynn, and Daphne, along with a niece, nephews, extended family and uncountable friends! There will be a private service held January 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
The service can be streamed live at https://control.resi.io/webplayer/video.html?id=5e5fb949-dd98-4ad6-8454-5dcdbac94740.

Go on to live like Jay, full of gratitude, love, and overtold jokes. “I have no fear, all I have is Love.”
