JoAnn raised four children alone. She had a larger than life personality, was Valedictorian of her high school class and was full of laughter and joy. Her passions were her children first and foremost.
JoAnn was a lover of words, reading and childhood education. She taught school children how to read and spell. JoAnn cared for many people in need. She was fond of entertaining, cooking and making "Tea Parties!" Her gardens were incredibly beautiful and inviting. She loved music and dancing and was strong and gentle. Her life was full and worthy!
JoAnn is survived by her three daughters, Michele, Renee and Sherri and one grandson, Justin Guise.
She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew, who was the baby of the family, on June 22, 2025.
