Joann Ruth (Price) Penn was born January 3, 1939, in Denver, CO, and passed away quietly in her sleep on June 16, 2020, in Loveland, CO. She lived in Arvada, CO, from 1969 until July of 2016 when she moved to Brookdale Mariana Butte in Loveland. There she was lovingly cared for by the wonderful Brookdale staff, and doted upon by her family.
Joann is survived by her three children, Sharon (Rick) Nealeigh of Loveland, CO, Patrick (Carolina Shih) Goodwin of Castle Rock, CO, and Scott Goodwin of Montrose, CO; grandson Joe Simmons of Loveland, CO; and granddaughter Mindy Nealeigh, grandson Dustin Nealeigh and three great grandchildren, Jory Bell, Kaiden Nealeigh and Mason Nealeigh, all of Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by her two brothers, Cliff Price of Livermore, CA, and Jerry Price, Littleton, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Penn, and her parents Vivian ("Sally") and Warren ("Jimmy") Price.
Joann was a loving wife, mother and grandma, and will be greatly missed. She will be buried alongside her husband Dale in Arvada, CO, at a private ceremony to be held at a later date.
