John W. Alderden, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his home in Loveland, Colorado. John (JW) was born in Steamboat Springs on June 20, 1977. He attended elementary school in Livermore, LaPorte and Fort Collins, Colorado and High School in Fort Collins.
JW is remembered by friends and family as having a huge and generous heart. Friends describe JW as being a true friend who was always there for them in time of need.
JW is survived by his parents, James and Deborah Alderden of Fort Collins; sister Kathlene (William) Thomas and niece Irelyn Thomas of Weston, WY; sister Rebekah Devereaux (Bruce) Strawberry Plains, TN; niece Alexa Young (Hillrey) of Harriman, TN; Daniel Hoopingarner of Humble, TX; and spouse Janelle Cerney of Loveland, CO.
A memorial service will be held at the Allnutt Drake Chapel, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO on Monday, September 13 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
