Josh Brown, That name will forever be burned into my mind. You are an unforgettable man and a human being with a good heart. It was an honor to stand with you and beside you in uniform. I could do it all over again if we had another chance. But for now I will remember our PFAR days and wild adventures in frozen Alaska . Rest easy my brother, I’ll be seeing you around. 

I attended school from 4th grade to high school graduation with Josh. I have many memories of our friendship. Josh was always so kind and a truly genuine person. He was a good friend to me for many years. Recently, we were able to reconnect on facebook and reminisce about our younger days and talk about our time in Alaska; although we each had very different experiences there. I am grateful for that brief reconnection. No matter how much time had passed he still was a genuinely good friend. I was saddened to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to his family during this difficult time. I wish I could show my support by attending the service tomorrow, but I unfortunately cannot attend.

I first met Josh when he started dating my younger sister Julia. Josh was the kind of person that the first time you met him, you liked him.  He had a great smile and a great heart. He became a part of our family and we all had a lot of good times over the years that followed. Some of the best memories I had with Josh were snowboarding with him, my sister Julia, and my brother Michael. Memories I will never forget. Josh will forever be in our hearts and minds. My deepest condolences to his family, and my prayers and thoughts are with everyone who’s lives were touched by Josh.

I will never forget Josh as he was a huge part of the Ninefeldt family for many years. I will always remember his contagious smile and happy spirit. He was such a positive person and a joy to have around. We have a big family and he had no problem fitting right in with all of us. He was so kind hearted and genuinely cared about all of us as we all cared about him. He had a great humor about him and always made me laugh. It deeply saddens me to see such a beautiful soul gone so young. We lost touch on and off over the years but whenever I would hear from him we picked right up where we left off and it was so normal. I pray for peace and healing and I send my deepest condolences to everyone that was blessed to have Josh in their lives. To Josh's family I send my love and prayers to each of you. Josh, you will forever be loved, missed and never forgotten. Love you Josh rest easy my friend. 

Josh, you were another little brother to me. As far a a memory there isn’t one specific because there were so many. Holidays, birthdays, you just simply sitting on the couch with my sister for endless hours as If you were on a trip on the beach. You were always so calm and happy and had a way of making everyone feel at ease and happy and comforted. And when you came and got a job with me you were the same there, always looking out for me, making sure I was respected and treated that way even tho I had worked there years before you came along. Your a beautiful soul josh, a smile that will be forever be with me and I’ll never forget how that smile made me feel. God bless you And your family. Gone but NEVER forgotten. Until we meet again josh, it’s been a long day without you my friend, and I’ll tell you all about when I see you again❤️🙏🏻

Is it possible for me to put into words the love for Josh, the laughter, the tears, with growing and sharing and being apart of the Ninefeldt family. And through time and different paths continued in our lives, Josh will remain a place in my heart, and in our hearts. And thankfulness to God that we will always have that.

I remember Josh dating my sister Julia and hanging out at my  house everyday for many years sense I was a young boy.  He became like another older brother to me as far back as I can remember he was always like a long lost brother. I looked up to him alot during those years I remember the whole gang of us walking through the snow one night going to get his Xbox to bring back to the house so we could play call of duty or something, It's nights like those I miss and will always cherish and remember. The last time I saw Josh was when he was in a car accident with my brother about 2 years ago, we didn't really talk face to face I know we said hey in the hospital hallway but acknowledging the circumstances .I was glad to see he was alright and really wish I would of taken the time to pull him aside and make sure he knew I had his back.
RIP Josh Brown , gone but never forgotten

I know I already shared a memory below. But I'm having a really hard time dealing with this and writing memories is the closest I feel to Josh right now. I want to thank Josh because I don't know if I did enough when I had him. I went through an eating disorder for most of the 6 years I was with Josh. Despite this and how hard it was on my family and on Josh,  we had the most incredible and real relationship anyone could ever imagine. He never left my side, not once. Josh prayed for me, he unconditionally loved me even at my worst. There were times I was so sick I didn't even want to see him and he would still come over to be with my family and sit on the couch next to me rubbing my hands and not saying a word knowing I didn't want to talk. He came just to be in my presence. Josh took care of me through thick and thin. We always talked about getting married, he loved all of me. Whatever I needed he was there. I can't explain into words the type of love Josh had for me and I for him. All I know is it was a fairytale movie type of love you typically think doesn't exist. To me Josh was perfect. My memories with Josh and my family are crystal clear and they will stay with me forever. I can't thank Josh enough for helping me get through some of my hardest times. Josh is a fighter, a lover, a believer, a perseverer, a warrior, a soldier, and a stronghold. Thank you Josh for making my life complete when I had you. I love you always and forever and I cannot wait to see you again one day. 

Josh was apart of my family throughout all of my teenage years. He was my sister’s boyfriend who after a short amount of time became a brother to me. The endless memories I have of him replaying in my mind are all so very deep and special. We were a clan, best friends. He was such an amazing human being. He was always there for me, and protected me like his own sister. He cared so much about every person that he knew. He always wanted to do more for people. As the years have gone on and time changes, I always thought about Josh and hoped he was alright. The last time I saw him was at the hospital 2 years ago when he was in a car accident with my brother. I hadn’t seen him in so long. He was all alone in his room and I wanted to make sure he was okay. So I did, and we chatted like old times. I had felt peace with me that night. And although the circumstances weren’t the best, I am so glad God placed him there at that time, so I could see him, not knowing it would be my last time. Josh will always be in my heart, and my families. I cherish the times spent with him and that he was apart of my life for a long time. I pray for his family, and I know Josh is in paradise with God now. Rest In Peace brother. Love you forever Josh Brown. 

Josh was in my life since I was just a little girl. He dated my aunt Julia and gave her so much support, comfort, loyalty and a love that only people dream to have. Josh was and always will be apart of our family, his contagious beautiful smile will always stay with me and I just hope he feels nothing but peace now. You were an amazing person I can’t put into words how much I will miss you, this doesn’t feel real I wish it was just a bad dream.  You always have and always will hold a special place in my heart I love you so much Josh. 

Josh and I met a few years ago but he had went to school with my aunt's and uncles at Thompson valley .. Josh and I started talking through Facebook, we would talk from sun up to sun down and some times all night long. Our talks were very deep, we would talk about our fears our dreams our past and our futures. I knew everything about josh before I even saw him for the first time. We talked for 3 months before meeting lol.. we had made plans to meet so many times because he was so nervous he said. He told me that he has never met anyone like me that truly understood him that could relate to most of what he has been through and was going through... Well we finally got to met and after that we were together everyday. There was nothing in my plans that did not include josh in it. Even my family occasions he was there. It had gotten to the point where he would leave my house and come back and knock on my window and he would sleep over lol. Even when he wasn't suppose to lol. But we had a blast we stay up all night watching movies talking and bidding from my parents lol.. it had gotten to the point where eventually he moved in with me.. we were great.. But sadly I retreat how things ended.. He moved out and we stopped talking for almost a year. Then he came back into my life and it was like we picked up were things were good like nothing bad had happen. We just started talking again. We talked about being with each other agian.. we had just made plans to hangout and fix my car. I never would have imagine that that was the last thing we would say to eachother.. He said he still loved me always have and always will, that he wanted us back again. The last thing I said was to have faith.. I will miss josh so much and so will my children. Josh was amazing and a good man deep down there wasn't anything he couldn't accomplish. He has done so much good things in his life. My family and I will always cherish his memory forever.. I will always love you and miss you Josh always....

Josh's smile. His laugh . His hugs. His beautiful soul. The way he made me feel okay to be me. Snowboarding with Josh and my brothers every weekend and Josh sleeping over on the couch the night before we'd go. I miss messing around at Best buy with Josh and my brother and driving around in his blue truck. I remember the first time I saw Josh we were at youth group. I was wearing my blue sweats outfit and he looked at me across the room and we just stared at each other for 5 min. Right there I felt his soul take me. That was when I believed in love at first sight. I was 15 and he was 17 going on 18. I couldn't date til I was 16 so for 8 months we talked on the house phone and hung out. For 8 months Josh waited for me to turn 16 so he could be with me. For 8 months we became the best of friends I could ever have in anyone. On my 16th birthday he took me to the lake and he chased me around the sand in the dark and we got all muddy and just laughed and played .  He drove me home and we sat in the back of his blue truck all muddy. He told me he had a gift for me and asked me to be his girlfriend. Josh was my very first kiss and boyfriend. Two months later he told me he was in love with me and would be forever. He spent the next 6 years with me and my family everyday. He will always be my one and only even if life separated us for reasons. Thank you Josh for showing me what true unconditional love is, what being in love feels like, the meaning of family and loyalty, for being a brother and best friend to all 6 of my siblings and parents, and how to truly love myself.
