With a heavy heart, we share the passing of Joyce Elaine Albert Caulkins, age 86, of Fort Collins, Colorado. Joyce passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Joyce was born on June 18, 1934, in Michigan to Dorothy and James Johns.
Into your arms, O Lord, we humbly entrust our mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. In this life, you embraced her with your tender love. Deliver her now from every evil and bid her eternal rest. The old order has passed away. Welcome her into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping, nor pain, but the fullness of peace and joy with Your Son and her savior, forever and ever. Amen.
Joyce is survived by her children: Linda King, Laura Maize, David Albert, and Susan Hafner. She reunites with her beloved son Richard (Rick) Albert and sits at the side of her heavenly father.
She was very proud of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great- grandchildren. She will be missed by all the hearts she has touched along the way.
Her smile and kind heart will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who know and love her.

Every moment I spent with my grandma is my favorite. Grandma was always teaching me something. My favorites were telling each other our dreams and reading the dictionary. I love you grandma and I miss you.

It's been a real long time since I have seen Aunt Joyce. I love reading all the messages, seeing past photo's and thinking back to my childhood. What a beautiful lady who has touched so many hearts. I know my dad will welcome her with open arms.

Linda and Family,
I mourn the loss of your Momma, and I send my heart-felt condolences.
I treasure the memories of chatting with your Momma when she was out gardening and digging out the pesky dandelions as well as when we would run into each other at the mailboxes and chatting with her when she was out walking with you, Linda.
I am happy that I was privileged to know her and experience firsthand her fun-loving side. Her beaming smile was infectious.
It won't be the same here without her.
God Bless Her that all pain is gone from her and that she can dance with the angels and with the family members gone on before her awaiting her when Jesus reached out and took her hand and lovingly led her into her eternal home.
Knowing the joy she lives in each and every moment now in Heaven and her having that fullness of joy relieves the sadness of not seeing her out and about and not hearing her chuckles and seeing her grin.

Mom, I just spent two days writing your eulogy, and the wonderful memories of you were too many to type out on just a few sheets! I am who I am today because of you! Thank you for being our mother, our inspiration, our steadfast counselor, biggest support, and number one example of love on Earth. I will miss you more than words can convey. Thank you for four wonderful siblings to share this life with. You will be forever in our hearts and in our conversations. Hug our brother Rick for us, and save us a seat in Heaven!
Love and kisses,
Laura

The sun is shining brightly today and the sky is a beautiful shade of blue and just a few clouds. It's a perfect day to fly--just as it was when my Tom left.
Many blessings to all of you and to Joyce,

We have such fond memories of your Mom. One in particular was her telling us about how she danced with the Flamenco dancer when she and your Dad were in Spain! Good fun!

My favorite memory of your mom is the picture of her dancing as a wee girl. And she managed to dance through life - ups and downs - a tiny grand lady, loved by so many.
Joyce was the older leader of my early growing up years. Double cousins are a bonded bunch.
It is so hard to say goodbye to a mother. I miss mine to this day and she has been gone over forty years! The very best a mother does is to love us.
I know you will grieve and yet rejoice for all the years you had her.
Love you,
Beverly and Doug

Our Mother was one of the kindest souls on earth. Everyone thought her as a mother, guidance counselor, first aid medic, and so much more even though the sight of blood made her nauseous, she would help them anyway!
She helped me with many situations and I couldn’t be more grateful! And she never complained either. Words can’t express how much I appreciated you and all you did for our family!
One of my fondest memories of her is her constant desire to garden. Always making a new rock garden and having to move her iris whenever we moved. We spent 20+ beautiful years together and I will miss her immensely! I love you mom!!!
