Kathrin “Kathy” Faye Dixon, a longtime resident of Loveland, CO, passed away on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at her home. She was born in Denver, Colorado to Wilda and Hoot Gibson on June 19th, 1950.
Kathy was a graduate of Cherry Creek High School and worked various jobs throughout her early years. She married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” H. Dixon, in 1972.
Kathy was a dedicated mother, loving wife and a cornerstone in her large family. Her love for family was unparalleled and she always had joy to share. She had a vivacious personality, was the best at practical jokes and continually made those around her laugh. Kathy partnered with her husband, Bob, in the ownership and operation of Plumbing Services, Inc. in Loveland, CO for over 30 years. She loved the sun, boating and yearly trips to Lake Powell where she endlessly entertained her children and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy found great joy with Bob in caring for all the creatures at her home including birds, squirrels, and especially their pet rabbits. Over the last several years she also enjoyed connecting with new and old friends via Facebook.
Kathy is preceded in death by her husband in 2014. She is survived by her brothers, Richard Fulton and Kenny Gibson, and her children: Monte Dixon, Cristina Dustin (husband Chris), and Rochelle Beaver.
