

After graduating from Thompson Valley High School in 1987, Kim began working at Miniscribe Corporation, where she met her future husband, Joe Fisher. They were married on June 29, 1991 in Masonville.
After her marriage to Joe, she also worked at HP, Colorado Memory Systems, and Woodward Governor. During this time she began studying medical assisting at IBMC in Ft. Collins, after which she trained as an EMT at Aims Community College. After she concluded her medical training she worked at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Poudre Valley Hospital in Ft. Collins, and McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
Kim had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh. She was a music lover, who enjoyed hiking, genealogy, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Kim is survived by her husband, Joseph Fisher; daughters, Jordyn Schwader and McKynna Fisher; father, Jim Ulm; sister, Cari Ulm and two grandchildren, Ellie Schwader and Auri Schwader. She is also survived by her niece, Kia Ulm; uncle, Todd Brody and cousins, Matthew Brody, Lindsey Brody and Shana Brody.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gayle Ulm.
A Celebration of Kim's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Allnutt Funeral Service-Hunter Chapel, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland. A reception will follow.
