Luke is survived by his mother, younger sister, 4-year-old son, a long-time life partner, several cousins, grandmother, great grandfather, aunts and uncles, and many other family members.
Luke was a native, born in Greeley Colorado. He grew up in Fort Collins Colorado where he went to school and later settled in Loveland. Luke said, “I’m never leaving Colorado, I love it here, we have everything”. Luke loved the outdoors. He was the man of our family for many years and was the protector and guiding force to his little sister.
Luke’s dream was to have his own lawn care and snow removal business which he accomplished in 2020. Luke and his mom started Luke the Lawn Guy LLC, in Loveland, Colorado. His business was an instant success and only got bigger and better over the last year. Luke’s clients frequently sent him cards, letters, and personal notes to tell him what an amazing job he was doing.
Luke also enjoyed producing music. He had his own music studio for years, and his friends would stop by for spontaneous jam sessions often. Luke enjoyed time with his only son; watching and playing sports with him and wrestling him to the ground as boys do. Luke was the most giving, hardworking, motivated, and funny man. His clients called him a ‘gentle giant’ and said he was the nicest kid you’d ever want to meet.
He was known for his pep talks when people were feeling down. One of his daily sayings was, “Hey! Life’s too short! Make amends! Quit with the little things!” Luke has many friends near and far and literally gave them work, friendship, or the shirt off his back if that's what was needed. Luke is missed so much by so many.
