Mary Anne Edwards

A lifelong learner, Mary Anne skipped two grades in school and graduated from Baldwinsville Central High School in 1954. Her academic journey continued at Cornell University, which she entered at the age of 16. Her dedication to science led to a distinguished career, supported by a Bachelor of Science from Mount Mary College (1970), a Master of Science from Norwalk Hospital (1971), a PhD from New York Medical College (1977), and an MD from Stanford Medical School (1980). Throughout her career, she served as a pathologist, toxicologist, medical-legal president in her private practice, a researcher at the Stanford Cancer Center, and nature educator at Filoli.

She is survived by her children, Cheri Edwards Houle, Donald William Edwards, and Beth Edwards Bramble; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Brennan Edwards; her grandchildren, Jarod Thomas Houle, Jacob Ryan Houle, Sean Elizabeth Edwards, William Patrick Edwards, and Kali Elizabeth Bramble; and her great-grandson, Roman James Houle.
