Maury Leigh Heiss, 91, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Society in Windsor, Colorado. She was born on August 15, 1934 in Laramie, Wyoming to Richard and Nelle (Avent) Leake.
Maury grew up on a working Dude Ranch in the Laramie River Valley, called the UT Bar Ranch. She lived a life filled with love, fun and adventure.
Maury married Robert Miller in 1955 in Johnstown, Colorado. They had three sons. She then married William Heiss in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Maury enjoyed spending time with an extensive family network of Millers, Heisses and Wehdes. She loved traveling, camping and skiing with her family and friends.
Maury is survived by her sons, Richard Miller, Michael Miller and Ronald Miller; her grandchildren, Megan Miller, Benjamin Miller and Jessica Miller and her cousin, Carol Emory.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Miller and William Heiss.
