Michael Angelo Lester passed away on June 5, 2020, he was born in Baluxi, Mississippi to Jerry Lester and Linda Ford on July 12, 1970, He spent a chunk of his life in Salinas, California, and then moved to the San Luis Valley, Alamosa, Colorado, once his mom passed away from breast cancer, to be with family, and settled in Fort Collins, where he found a special Father (Fader Williams). Michael was a car enthusiast, that took special pride in his BMW, whether detailing it or just taking care of it. He was an avid sports fan that cheered for his 49’ers and San Francisco Giants. Michael really had an exquisite relationship with the students at CSU when he worked as a custodian, he had a magnetic energy and personality that touched all that knew him. He was taken in by a Pastor (Pastor Dan) who took Michael into his church and under his wing at Hope Community Church. Michael was survived by his only son, Gabriel Lester, only brother, Johnny Arellano and one sister, Malissia Angela Baroz; His aunts: Anita Colon, Phyllis (Jimmy) Mascareñas, Judy(Lawrence) Martinez, Pearl Ford; one uncle, Jimmy Ford; a niece; several nephews and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Cortez; father, Jerry Lester; step-father, who raised him like his own, Carlos Cortez; maternal grandparents: Otilia and Alex Ford; uncles: Bernie Ford, Leonel Ford, Deanie Ford, Johnny (Mongo) Ford.
