Michael Scott Swain, 64, of Berthoud, Colorado, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at his home. He was born on February 25, 1962 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Robert William and Marjorie Helen (Laupt) Swain.
As a child, Michael also lived in Appleton, Wisconsin, California and Germany. He enjoyed playing Little League and skateboarding. He also loved mountain biking, going on camping trips and woodworking. Michael had a great love for all animals.
Michael is survived by his father, Robert W. Swain (Lt. Col., USAF, Retired) of Yardly, Pennsylvania; sister, Barri Wautlet of Yardly and his beloved dog, Roxi.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Helen Swain.
