Nathan was born in Boulder, CO to Anita Kay Jenson and Gary Lynn Bensing, the third of four children. He grew up in Northern Colorado, primarily in Loveland.
Nathan was a photographer, website designer/manager and all around computer expert. He could often be found helping his friends and family with various computer and electronic device trouble.
Nathan loved his dog Luke very much. Throughout his life, he kept various unique pets such as tarantulas, rodents, lizards, and frogs and at one point had a small business breeding poison dart frogs.
He enjoyed being in the mountains, hiking, camping, fishing and taking beautiful photographs of nature and wildlife.
Nathan was known for his kind personality and his unique sense of humor. He was reserved and introspective, and it was a privilege when the opportunity came about to have a deep conversation with him, or to make him laugh.
Nathan will be deeply missed by his mom Anita, sisters Jessica (Jared) and Carissa (Marty), brother Toby, his niece Isabelle, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Bensing; grandparents, Julian Jenson, Dorothy Sanders, Robert Bensing, and Mary Catherine Holtzknecht; uncle, Robert Bensing; aunt, Glenda Bensing; and cousins, Bryson Niedling and Sean Davis.
