Norma Jean Flood

September 30, 1931 – July 26, 2018,

Jean, 86, passed away on July 26, 2018. She was born in Shickley, Nebraska as the daughter of Emil and Sadie Richardson. She graduated from Gering High School Class of 1948 at the age of 16. She worked in the accounting profession for multiple corporations until retiring from Norpac Oil & Gas Exploration as Chief Accounting Officer (CAO).

Jean loved spending time with her family most of all and always had a small dog on her lap for company. As a resident of Colorado she became an avid and boisterous Denver Bronco fan and enjoyed watching the games with family and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Dale, sisters Viola and Darlene, brothers Virgil and Jerry. She is survived by her two daughters Lynn and Mecael, two sons Tony and Bill, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her sister Patricia. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Olinger Highland Mortuary and Cemetery, 10201 Grant St., Thornton, CO 80229.
