Paul had just gotten back from the gulf after his boat, The O'Brien, made headlines at the start of Dessert Storm. I was so proud of my little brother that I had to take him out for a beer. He was still in uniform and we went to the State Armory. He was treated like a hero and got drinks on the house the whole night. You are going to be missed.

7:00 on a Sunday morning and my husband and I are still in bed. Paul and a girlfriend come into the house and up the stairs to our bedroom and both sit on the edge of the bed and proceeded to visit with us for at least a hour. How priceless that he was so comfortable doing this.

Another time, Paul and my son Rick came to the house in sports coats that they must have gotten from goodwill, as they were a tad big. In their jeans and sun glasses they looked super cool. As they are walkout the door, they had taken take and printed with tape on the back of the coats “Bikini Patrol”.
Often wonder if they got in the school dance with that on the their back.
Rest In Peace Paul
