Randy Claude Colby
March 10, 1943 – May 6, 2022

Randy C. Colby, 79, of Loveland, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022. Born in Canton, Ohio, he was a son to the late Omer and Betty Bowermaster Colby.
Randy retired from the US Air Force in 1982 after serving his country for 21 years, including tours in Viet Nam, Taiwan and Korea.
He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He was involved in many things, such as Boy Scouts, Society for Creative Anachronism, Scottish American Military Society, Marine Corp. League, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Loveland Historical Society. Randy served in the Loveland Volunteer Police Force and Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado, where he is listed on their electronic Wall of Honor.
He fought a hard battle with cancer, diabetes, and other problems.
Randy is survived by his wife of almost 58 years, Estella; son, Bill (Katy); grandson, Jon (Aleigha); great-grandson, Sean; and granddaughter, Mary.
He is no longer in pain, and is with his friends and comrades. We will miss him.
A visitation for Randy will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at Allnutt Funeral Service, Hunter Chapel in Loveland with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm. Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado, PO Box Q, Fort Collins, CO 80522.
