

Richard was born on February 21, 1948 at Weld County Hospital in Greeley, Colorado. His parents were John C. Pulver and Helen L. Pulver. Richard was raised in Johnstown, Colorado alongside his siblings Lora, Donna, and Daniel.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a Lineman from 1968 to 1970. Through his hard work and dedication, he achieved the rank of Sergeant. He received several awards including a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Richard was blessed with two daughters, Tracy and Tari, as well as two grandchildren, Brianna and Justin. He spent a significant amount of time with his family, the love he had for them was insurmountable. He was an enduring role model, dispensing wisdom whenever he felt it was needed.
He attained his Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Technology from Front Range Community college. Richard graduated Phi Theta Kappa and went on the gain employment with HP and later Agilent Technologies.
Richard enjoyed various hobbies, including nature photography, reading, golf, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was and avid sports fan. Although he watched a variety of sports, his favorites were the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He enjoyed exploring the Rocky Mountains and made regular trips to photograph the fall colors.
Richard passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 4, 2020 at Windsor Healthcare Center in Windsor, Colorado. He is survived by his children Tracy and Tari; his grandchildren Brianna and Justin; his sister Donna, and his brother Daniel. Services will be held at Allnutt Funeral Services in Loveland, Colorado. Richard will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley, Colorado.
