Robert Joseph McSherry

A funeral service for Robert Joseph McSherry, 76, of Aurora Colorado, will be held at 1:00 p.m. June, 18, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran and Catholic Community of Faith in Denver Colorado, with burial in Loveland Burial Park at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday June 18, 2019.

Mr. McSherry died June 11, 2019. Born in Cheyenne Wyoming, on March 10, 1943, he was a son of Marie Elizabeth (Harrington) and Joseph Stewart McSherry. Robert attended high school at Aurora Central and graduated in 1961, followed by going to Adam State University where he graduated with a Masters Degree in Music. He taught in Brush, CO as a 3rd grade elementary teacher for 28 years before retiring and worked for Argus Event Staffing and enjoyed ushering for Boettcher Concert Hall and Elli Caulkins Opera House. He was a member of the Colorado Choir and St Paul Lutheran and Catholic Community of Faith Church. He enjoyed trains and riding the light rail, airplanes and his passion for music.

Surviving is Aunt Mary James (McSherry) of Loveland, CO, Brother-in-Law Duane Crapser of Johnstown, CO, Nephew Robert Crapser (Sherry) Avondale, AZ, Niece Jean Maxwell (Erin) Milliken, CO, Great Niece Zabrina Maxwell and Great Nephew Patrick Maxwell

He was predeceased by Father Joseph Stewart McSherry, Mother Marie Elizabeth (Harrington), Sister Beverly Jean Crapser
