Robert Earl Talley

Robert "Bob" Earl Talley, 81, of Berthoud, CO, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, CO. He was born on August 5, 1943 in Peoria, IL to Gerald and Mary (Blust) Talley.

Bob was raised in Elmwood, IL. During his school years he played many sports: football, basketball, track and field and swimming. In 1962, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he was a Corpsman stationed at Great Lakes Hospital in Great Lakes, IL.

Bob married Anne Olson on February 21, 1965. In 1966, Bob and Anne moved to Colorado, where he worked at Lego and IBM/Lexmark. Retiring in 1999 from Lexmark, Bob started a lawn mowing business that he enjoyed doing for several years. He loved hunting, camping, fishing, photography, volunteering with the Berthoud Lions Club and spending time with family and friends.

Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind: his wife, Anne Talley of Berthoud; daughter, Christine Fries and husband, Bob of Windsor, CO; son, Bobby Talley and wife, Sara of Cheney, WA; grandchildren, Chase and Kady Talley, Timmy Fries, Miranda Hoff and Matthew, Darien and Sara Fries and great-grandchildren, Carter and Marley Talley and Elliott Hoff.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary Talley and his sister, Liz Johnson.
