Sharon Suzanne Jones

Sharon Suzanne Jones, 90, of Firestone, Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 in Loveland, Colorado. Born December 5, 1935, in Monroe, Michigan, to Edward and Gladys Sharrow, Sharon was raised in Monroe and attended St. Mary Academy.

Sharon later graduated with her nursing degree from Madonna College and served as a registered nurse for Wayne County in Michigan. A formal and respectful presence to all who knew her, Sharon will be remembered as a devoted, caring, and family-centered woman whose favorite thing was simply being with her family.

Sharon was an avid reader and greatly enjoyed spending time playing Mexican Train and cards. She also volunteered at the local hospital for many years, giving her time in the same generous spirit that shaped her life and relationships. In quieter moments, she appreciated her small glass of wine at night.

Sharon was married to Bill (Montolio) in her first marriage, on June 21, 1958, in Monroe, Michigan. She later married Paul Jones in her second marriage, on December 30, 1983, in Livonia, Michigan.

Sharon is survived by her daughters: Shelly (Michelle) Brandt and husband Joe Brandt of Clinton, Oklahoma; Lori (Delores) Marion (Deceased Spouse Ves Marion) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and Cheryl Brickey and husband Tom Brickey of Firestone, Colorado. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Patrick Brandt, Laura Wilson (Spouse Dan Wilson), Steven Brandt, Sarah Brickey, and Sydney Brickey; and by her great-grandchild, Charlotte Brandt. Additional surviving family members include sister-in-law Sharyl Sharrow, Ron and Barb Drake, Lynn and Russ Boudrie, and Rick Drake.

Sharon was preceded in death by her spouses Bill (William) Montolio and Paul Jones; her parents, Ed and Gladys; her brothers, Tom Sharrow and Patrick Sharrow; her cousin, Sue Westover; and Bob Drake.

Sharon’s life reflected steady compassion, faithful service, and deep love for those closest to her. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
