

Susan "Sue" Shirley Dwyer, 84, of Loveland passed away peacefully at her home and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2021. Sue was born on October 9, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas to Alden and Dora Fidler. Alden passed away in 1939 and Dora married Harold Woodward, who adopted Sue and was always a loving and supportive father to her. Sue graduated from East High in Wichita, KS in 1955. She met Harold Dwyer in 1955 and they married on July 29, 1956. After Harold’s USAF service in Japan and stateside, they settled in Kansas City, MO and Scottsdale, AZ while Harold established a career with Hallmark Cards and Sue was a loving homemaker. They retired and moved to Loveland, Colorado in 2007. Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, nana, and friend. She loved her family dearly, and her home was always festive and filled with love, delicious food and happy times. Sue’s faith was very important to her and she lived out her faith by serving and loving others. She was a member of Faith Church, several bible studies, and fellowship groups and volunteered in church charities and ministering to home bound friends. Sue is preceded in death by her loving husband Harold and is survived by her 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great granddaughters. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice who lovingly cared for Sue and her family.
