Suzi was born on October 13, 1945 in Minot, North Dakota to Frank Wolfe and Florence (Worrall) Wolfe. She grew up in Minot and graduated from Minot State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 1968.
Suzi began her teaching career in Greeley, Colorado at Jackson Elementary. She met Terry Dean Fisher on a blind date, and they married in 1971. Following their marriage, Suzi left teaching to be a full-time homemaker. She and Terry had two sons, Jeff and Bill. Suzi was a wonderful wife and mother. She always said being a mother was the greatest job she ever had.
Suzi had a tremendous sense of humor. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was as quick with a hug as she was with a joke, and she had a warm, loving heart for her friends and family. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her wit, wisdom and humor.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Fisher (Tammy) and Bill Fisher, her brother, James Wolfe, her sister, Mary Ann Weideman, and her beloved 8 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her oldest brother, Charles Wolfe.
The family is planning a private Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels or Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
