Tom Lockwood died on Monday August 19, 2024 at the age of 82 in Loveland, Colorado at his home with his wife Deborah Lockwood. Tom is also survived by his sister Cheryll Lockwood and her husband Jim Crist of La Puente, California. His son Scott Lockwood, Scott’s wife Lanie, and Tom’s grandchildren Grace and Carter Lockwood live in San Diego. Tom’s peaceful and reassuring presence is dearly missed by his family and friends. While he was born in Lawrence, Kansas he attended high school in La Puente and lived in Riverside, California from 1973 until he moved with Deborah to Loveland, Colorado in 2021. Tom worked at UCR and the Press-Enterprise. Besides family, he loved cars and plants. He taught horticulture in New Zealand for three years after graduating from Cal Poly Pomona. He was preceded in death by his brother Randy Lockwood, his parents Tom and Margaret, and his first wife Audrey Lockwood. We love you Tom.
