Joyce Nigrelli, aged 87, died peacefully on March 4, 2017 at her home in Clearlake, California. Joyce was born July 13, 1929, in Athol, Massachusetts, the daughter of Dexter L. Tolman and Georgianna M. Gravel Tolman.
In 1948, Joyce married the love of her life, Edward Anthony Nigrelli, and was a stay at home mom to their 6 children. They relocated to San Jose, California in 1962 and again to Clearlake, California in 1987.
Joyce’s laugh, smile and spunky personality will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Joyce loved her family and had a passion for music and dancing. Joyce enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, trips to Hawaii and Reno, playing cards, a good word search, swimming, finding a good bargain, watching Dancing With The Stars, and playing Bingo. The world had never seen a more skilled Bingo player!
Joyce was a beautiful, loving wife, mother, grandmother (grams), great grandmother and friend; she will be deeply missed. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Edward and her son, Robert. She is survived by 5 of her children, Ed, Joy, Ann Marie, Jane and Lisa. Joyce proudly had 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The world has lost, and heaven has gained, an amazing character and story teller. Joyce will forever be in our hearts as we hear her voice telling us to “go out, live life and enjoy yourselves!”
