

Born May 26, 1936 in Robinson, IL, passed peacefully in her sleep early Sunday, September 25th, 2011, in Clearlake, California.
Marti is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, John Pruett. She is also survived by her three children, Patti Farezoco Thomas (West Jordan, UT) and Nick Farezoco (Fountain Valley, CA) and John David *Kristina* Pruett (SLC, UT), also her five grand children, and three great grandchildren.
Marti loved to sing and make music, and was known for her amazing lead voice. During the 60's and 70's she sang with The Pepper Tones, a woman's barbershop quartet which was part of the San Jose Chapter of Sweet Adelines. Marti also performed and directed adult and youth church choirs for many years in San Jose, California and Salt Lake City, UT.
Marti taught creative writing, and had several works published. Her poems, writings, and musical performances were uplifting and inspiring to everyone who had the pleasure to experience them.
Marti worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for over 25 years, serving Salt Lake City, UT. Boston, MA, and Clearlake, CA
She loved her husband, family, and dog Butch dearly. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and jamming to folk and country music with those who played with her.
