HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Cutie Pie. It's February 11th 2018. I miss you soooooo much. We went out to Bandon. We bought another wind sock to hang in the trees for you. Again it was a fun but emotional time. Hi  cutie pie. Today is November 1, 2017. Happy 31st anniversary baby.  We went to Bandon  today honey.   It was fun but everyday I miss you more and more. I Watch the video of us in the hospital every day so I can hear your voice.  I miss being  able to talk to you about anything.   I miss my best friend. I Love you so much forever and ever and a day. IT'S FEBRUARY 11th 2017. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY. I LOVE YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We took a trip to Bandon today. We ate at Dairy Queen and watched the waves break at the Jetty. We bought a lighthouse wind sock since you love lighthouses. It was an emotional  and nice day. I miss you more every day, I miss snuggling with you, sharing coffee, and just being around you. Hi Cutie Pie. It,'s December 3rd, It's been 2 years since you left us.I wanted us to do something special, so we went to Bandon today, the city you loved by the ocean. It was fun, and very emotional as I would remember all the fun times we had. I couldn't go into the stores by myself, it was too hard without you. We went to the Getty and then the lighthouse, we took some pictures and watched the sea. We ate at Dairy Queen and got a coffee like we use to. On the way home we followed the ocean south then took a road out of Gold Hill towards Galice. We ended up in the forest then over a pass thru the snow at 4600 feet and ended up at Merlin before going home.We had an adventure together. I know you were with me. I miss you soooooo much, I see you in everything I do, l miss holding you, talking with you, spooning and everything else. I know we will be together again as you are my 1 and only true love, until then, Love your Mikie pie, forever and ever and a day!!!!!!

I miss sharing our mochas In the morning, hearing your good Luck song every morning, talking on the phone on the way to work and soooo many other things. You were my rock. I loved seeing your happy smile and your enthusiastic joy of life, always thinking of others. When we would lay down at night and snuggle, I felt Soooo safe and comfortable. Our house was a home. Without you here it's just a house now. I know we will be together again in time, but until then I will do the best as I can thinking of all the great memories we shared together. Our Dear Daughter Mynie, words cannot express how much we miss and LOVE you! Sometimes it seems you left us yesterday, other times it seems a long time ago, either way our love for you is always and forever! Tell all our loved ones there we miss and love them too okay? One year ago today we lost you to the dreaded beast Papa wrote about, he too would be lost to us with the same beast. Just seven months after you left us he was taken. We pray for an end to that stealer of lives!

Most people will take the journey through life without ever knowing a genuinely great person in the flesh. I however, had the privilege of being an unbelievably amazing person's Nephew, and I will be forever thankful. 

I have often doubted the goodness of humanity in general, but I always circled back to the same conclusion: "Well, we have Myna and Mikie, so that has to count for something!" :) You two have truly been an inspiration to what I want out of life.

I will forever cherish the times I spent with you at Mamma and Papa's house during the Summers, Winters, and pretty much any time during my childhood that I knew I would get a chance to spend time with you. You will be missed dearly, and never forgotten.

I think of you and so many fun memories come to mind. I am so happy we talked and laughed about old  stories when we were a Mamma and Papas. Pep and Cheese were one of my favorite stories. All of us boys puking on the dogs in Mamas van was an  embarrassing but, awesome memory, we had so much fun with you, driving around Clearlake looking at big houses, eating twisters and driving fast over the tickle bumps in the road on 18th Ave.

My sweet sweet big sister, I can't stop thinking about you and all the memories we shared. You, my big sister, did not know how much you impacted my life and all the roads I followed, because of your directions. I miss you so so so much everyday!
There is a piece of me missing inside, I can't explain this feeling, only it hurts so terribly bad. You were not only my sister but my mother, mentor, and my light to save my life. You guided me through raising my kids, when I was so 
alone, you were always there for me. You spoiled me when I was young and  you always were there to pick me up and save me as I grew up. You my big sister were selfless in this life and now you can fly and be free of ANY pain from illness or any unkindness of this world. You just didn't know how GOOD and WONDERFUL you really were, that was all part of you and how selfless you really were. I miss you! I miss you! I miss you! Thank You Big Sister for honoring me by being my big sister, I love you!  Love Your Baby Sister For Eternity!   HAPPINESS!!!!!!!

My life will be empty without your smiling face and loving disposition. I will always have you in my thoughts.

So…as things go on, one thinks, as I do…Even as the inevitable seemed as reality, nobody was willing to accept it. Not with Myna…and certainly NOT, Myna…and especially not Mikie and my parents.  There was NEVER a possibility of life without her, because she fought so long and hard and she and we believed so long and hard that the person she was, and the love we all felt, was so good, and would be enough…and at the end of the day… with all of her strength she would persevere; partly because we loved her so much and could not accept that the presence of her, would not grace us forever, but mostly because, behind our backs, she struggled to survive…for ALL OF US!
So…It isn't interesting to me at all that I stopped at anger…after her final prognosis, while trying to get through the possibility/probability of the 5 stages of grief.
1)      Denial
2)      Anger
3)      Bargaining
4)      Depression
5)      Acceptance
 Denial for me was ever present until she took her last breath; right in front of me…of course it was…
The anger was present from the day they sent her home…to die…though I could not believe in it; I/and everyone that loved her… was still in denial, for reasons stated above.
I bargained much harder than I had ever done before, while struggling toward acceptance, because I love her so much…There was never a person on this planet that graced me with their presence…as much as Myna did. No higher being that I ever prayed to, as much as I did…for my love of Myna.
Depression; It could not happen…because I was way…because I was WAY, too far into denial. I knew she would be okay…because of her. Depression was never present.
Acceptance…NO!
But then…with those last harbored breaths and when…her abdomen ceased to raise again…Denial left me; the moment my sister died…right in front of me; Her face right next to mine; her last breath right in my face… 
So…that brought me right back to anger! That is where I went…and where I remained, for a long while.

Then, while raging in my anger, I realized that the person that Myna was/is…would not want that for me. She was never about anger…only kindness. She cared so much about everyone else and never complained about ANYTHING. She spoke Nary a bad word about anyone.
She taught us ALL, in her wisdom…behind our backs… how to be better people. ?.. I would never want to disappoint her, yet I am aware that the person she was, would never be disappointed by anyone, she loved. 
So…I will forever remember her joy, about EVERYTHING… in her love for everything. Her husband that she loved...ever present in her mind, man of her dreams, keeper of her soul; Family she loved with such a selfless protection…Her MOM & DAD, that she talked to every evening, her son that she gave her heart to, her “Boys”…(Her dogs), and the Frogs in her house, protected by a dome barrier of unsolicited love…and in her ever present unique quips... EG:  “The best part of wakening up… ?
So, as things go on…I realize…So…I realize…that while in the frenzy of things and in the chaos…I was given a gift. I breathed in my sister's last breath. Her face, right next to mine; I was sitting in Grandma Mary's chair…in my parents' house, HER face RIGHT next to mine…She exhaled, I inhaled…Perhaps by chance…perhaps on purpose, perhaps by need…and probably without even understanding it at the time, I breathed in, my sister's last breath. I breathed in my sister's…last breath. ? I never want to exhale.
So, as things go on…I noticed that anger has left me. Because I know my sister MYNA…there are NO stages of grief…Not for her…ONLY joy…if only EVERYONE could see it!
I do, MYNIE…I will love you forever. I will miss you with each day that I grow older. I will worship your truths, because I know they are, now mine. I will cherish my memory of you…and will forever hold sacred inside of me… your last breath!

OUR PRECIOUS ANGEL

Our daughter, precious angel Mary Ina passed away on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013, a day we will remember forever. Through a courageous fight for six and a half years, never to hear you say why me or complain about how you felt, you were more concerned about how everyone else was feeling.
No matter what you were going through, you kept that wonderful smile we all loved so much. You took great pleasure in the joy of others, the mochas, which you loved and delighted in the fact that you and Mikie introduced us to them, we also loved them. The many times you both came when you needed to be here for all you family.
I find it hard to believe the lessons I learned from you. You always bounced back stronger. Your strength and thoughtfulness were always present We are so proud of you!
We thank GOD for your choice of the right husband, you worshiped each other and were so loving, doing things to make each other happy. You talked on the phone every morning on the way to work, during lunch and all the way home. Your love was a joy for others to see, everyone knew you were meant for each other.
We thank GOD for giving us these last few months to be with and help care for you. We cherished every moment we spent together. More memories, your happiness when anyone came to visit, how you got joy out of the clock chiming Ave Maria, our dogs sleeping at your feet on your bed. Papa's peanut butter cookies which you loved, I remember how the littlest things make you so happy, I could continue on , but we all remember......
We thank GOD for the close family we have, Sherry, Lorenzo, Vernie, Becky, Cliff and Myna's special Mikie.. We spent a lot of time making memories. 
We were all there around your bed when you left us. Want to add Michael Albert, our grandkids and great grandkids. She loved when you visited. We love you all!
I am finding it hard to be in this world without you in it. Our Dear Darling Angel Myna Myna Myna. Your family loves you with all our hearts and souls.

I'll always remember the comfort and understanding you brought to our family. You were a true blessing to all of us and we will never forget that. We love you so much.

I met Mynie thru Becky her sister, who cut my hair at the college. Becky was studying all week for finals and took a break and picked me for a hair cut. Becky asked me to go to her graduation/ birthday party for here sister Mynie, to meet her. When I met Mynie I had never felt so comfortable with a lady in my life.We started dating, then on November  1, 1986 we were Married. That was the happiest day of my life. We were known as the Velcro  twins due to we loved doing everything together. Me and Mynie were soooo happy with little things like having Mocha's together, spooning in bed, cuddling up on the couch together and watching a happy movie, being with family, generally just being together. Mynie was my only true love and SOLE MATE!!!!!     I LOVE MYNIE SOOOO MUCH. Mynie was the kindest person I ever knew and always brought out the best in people, she was my rock and a true angel. Heaven is lucky to have her. I will miss everything about my Mynie pie, I can't imagine living without her, but Mynie would want me to be happy, so for her I must,  knowing that some day we will be together again for ever and ever and a day. I LOVE AND MISS YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH, Your Mikie pie!!!!!!

Myna, I will miss that wonderful sense of humor, your laughter and "BIG" smile. You were so courageous and my admiration for you - well words just cannot express! We love you, we will miss you! Always in my heart!

Myna will be missed by all  We are thankful for the 27 years she was part of the Sabados family in making a life with Michael and Robbie as our loving sister-in-law.

Mina was so sweet and would always listen to my childhood ramblings.  When I was a kid I always looked forward to hanging out with her.  I have so many great memories of staying up late, watching movies, and just being silly in general.  As a kid, it is so special when an adult plays along.  Mina was always good for that.  Now, as an adult, I can still be pretty silly sometimes.  It is a trait I will treasure always.  My love, hugs, and sympathies to everyone in my family.

I am so sad for all of you.  I have wonderful childhood memories with Mary Ina in them. I am blessed to have known her and all of you.
