Samira Abdullah Najd Sickels

Samira was born on Sept. 10, 1941, in Lebanon.

She came to the United States in 1972. In December of 1976, she married David Sickels.

Samira was predeceased by her infant son, Brian, and her husband, David.

She is survived by her loving son, Brian David Sickels of Clearlake. Samira also leaves behind her four brothers, many friends and family who are deeply saddened by her sudden and tragic death.

Sam, as she was known to many of her friends, enjoyed going to the casino with her friends, loved to garden and most especially enjoyed growing vegetables. She always enjoyed cooking with the things she had grown in her garden. She loved her son most of all.

A memorial service will be held at Jones & Lewis in Lower Lake on July 9, 2011, beginning at 11 a.m. Family and friends will gather together and share special memories of Samira in honor of her life.
