Alicia M. Garza (Alice), 74 years of age, went peacefully home to be with our Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

She was born on May 16, 1946 in San Juan, Texas to her late parents, Severo Garza and Ninfa Coronado. She was the oldest of two children.

She enjoyed a career in customer service, with Stripes being her latest endeavor, where she made many life long friends.

Alicia loved to read her Stephen King novels, watch her favorite shows on TV, spending time with her family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face and occasionally having her favorite beer in her hand. She was a loving and caring person, devoted Mother and friend, always thinking of others first. She was always making people laugh, especially with her “bluntness!” To know her was to love her!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Severo Garza and Ninfa Coronado, and her son Jose R. Aguirre.

Alicia leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her children, Sandra E. Kennedy, Christopher Michael Aguirre (Tina), and Laura Ramirez (Chris), her sister Maria Garza, 1 nephew, 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be 4-6pm on Friday, March 5, with the Rosary service starting at 6pm at Resthaven Funeral Home Abbey Chapel. Graveside service will be on Saturday, March 6th at 11:30am at Resthaven Memorial Park.
