Amber Purser

Born on September 17, 1979, to Charles Matthew Laurent and Linda Jo (Buckley) Chumbley in San Antonio, Texas. Amber was the second of three children. She grew up in Canadian, Texas and was a graduate of Canadian High School in 1997. She went on to become a registered nurse and spent a majority of her career at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Amber will be long remembered as a loving mother, charismatic sister, and vivacious aunt. She has been described throughout her life as a loyal friend and confidant, a compassionate healthcare provider, fun spirited, generous, and a present and dependable family member never missing important family events. She will most importantly be remembered for her dedication to her children. Her warm love and compassion for others will be gravely missed by those who her life has touched.

Amber is survived by her two children Benjamin and Landree Purser; partner Cody Dorman, mother Linda Chumbley (husband, Lee); sister Brandi Wagner (husband, Lee); brother Matt Laurent (wife, Lindsay), and numerous nieces and nephews along with other extended family members who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Matthew Laurent.

The family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in honoring her life and memory.
