Ann Williams

Ann was born on April 10, 1944 in Plainview Texas to J.A. and Audra Brooks. She was a long time resident of New Deal, Texas where she served as the Post Master and retired after 30 years in 2004. She was a devoted grandmother to her 6 grandkids attending all activities that they were involved in. She was a great mentor and loved a good game of Uno with the grands. She loved to read and travel in her free time. Ann was always up to date on her favorite game shows.

Ann was proceeded in death by her father and mother J.A. and Audra Brooks, siblings Don Brooks and Lynda Haddock. Along with her beloved husband David Ray Williams. She is survived by her son Paul Williams, daughter Tanya Burton and spouse Ricky. Along with her honorary daughter Teri Gardner. Ann had 6 grandchildren that her world revolved around; Kara Griffis and spouse Eddie, Stuart Williams and partner Noah Meek, Krista Billingsley and spouse Zachary, Erica Malone and spouse Jacob, Brock Burton and spouse Megan, Derek Williams and spouse Kelly. She was also a great grandmother to 17 great grands.

A viewing will take place on Friday April 3, 2026 from 6-8 pm at Lake Ridge Chapel in Lubbock, Texas. Services will be held at Lake Ridge Chapel on Saturday April 4, 2026 at 10 am, with graveside immediately following at Resthaven.
