

Arvil graduated from Wellman High School in 1953. He married Jenelle Hulse of Brownfield, Texas, on November 16, 1957. He was enlisted in the Air Force from 1955-1963. He was the Service Manager for various Ford dealerships around Texas before settling down at Pollard Ford in Lubbock and finally at Gene Messer Ford, from which he eventually retired. He enjoyed playing games, especially 42 and Wahoo, with his friends and family, fishing, and watching John Wayne movies. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church and on the board for the Gilbert Herrera Ministry.
Arvil was preceeded in death by his parents, John and Bertie Walser. Wife Jenelle Hulse Walser. Brothers Jay, June, Cliff, Hoss Walser, and Jerry Sims. Sisters Cleo Sims, Lillie Brown, and Peggy Foy.
Arvil is survived by his daughter, Kim Allison, and husband David, of Lubbock.
His son, Brent Walser, and wife Jamie, of Lubbock. Grandson Josh Dale, and wife Nicole, of Castle Rock, Colorado. Granddaughters: Megan and Mackenzie Walser, of Lubbock.
Great Granddaughter Brynne Leigh Walser, of Lubbock. Sister Joy Walser Bertrand and Brothers Barry, Larry, and Terry Sims.
