Barbara Lee Armstrong

On November 23, 2020 Barbara (Jenkins) Armstrong got her wings and went to walk with the angels. Barbara (Patterson) Armstrong was born on July 21, 1952 in Memphis Tennessee. Her parents were William Patterson and Ada (Pollard) Patterson.

She graduated from South side High School in 1970. Barbara was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a "Grandma" to her 10 grandchildren. Barbara loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She would spend hours loving her favorite B’s (Bingo, Bowling, and Bizwiz). Barbara was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Charles E. Armstrong, her sister Peaches Pearl Jones, Billie Foster, and William Patterson Jr. Her parents Willie and Ada Patterson. Her granddaughter Chanice Jenkins.

She is survived by her Fiancé Leon McDonald, two children Michael Jenkins Jr., Yolanda Walker (Terrance) and ten grandchildren.
