Benjamin Geoffrey Krahmer, lovingly known to family and friends as "Ben," passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 57. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but his legacy of laughter, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to live on through the countless memories he created.
Ben was born on March 5, 1969, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Sandra and John Krahmer. From an early age, he possessed a larger-than-life personality that would become his trademark throughout his life. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, a talent for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable stories, and a sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. Ben never met a stranger, and if you spent even a few minutes with him, chances are you walked away laughing.
Those who knew Ben will remember him for his quick wit, sharp sarcasm, and endless collection of stories. He was a natural entertainer and a true comedian at heart. Whether gathered around a family table, spending time with friends, or meeting someone new, Ben always knew how to bring joy to those around him. His humor was matched only by his kindness. Beneath the jokes and playful teasing was a man with an incredibly big heart who would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He was generous with his time, his support, and his love, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer encouragement when it was needed most.
Education and hard work were important to Ben. He was a proud graduate of Texas Tech University, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Throughout his professional life, he demonstrated determination, leadership, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Ben spent 20 dedicated years with Anderson Brothers, building lasting relationships and earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike. After two successful decades with the company, he courageously followed his dream of working for himself and established a career in the real estate industry. Through his work, he built not only a successful business but also friendships that would last a lifetime.
While Ben was proud of his professional accomplishments, nothing meant more to him than his family. He was a devoted father to his children, Kayla Krahmer and Sean Krahmer, whom he loved beyond measure. He took great pride in watching them grow and was always there to offer advice, encouragement, and, of course, a joke when they needed one. Becoming a grandfather brought him even greater joy. His grandchildren, Sutton Cummings and Carson Krahmer, held a special place in his heart and brought endless happiness to his life. The love he shared with them was one of his greatest treasures.
Ben is survived by his children, Kayla Krahmer and Sean Krahmer; his cherished grandchildren, Sutton Cummings and Carson Krahmer; his sisters, Ana Krahmer and Alyssa Krahmer; and his lifelong best friend, Joe Pixler. Joe's steadfast friendship and loyalty were a source of great comfort to Ben, and he remained faithfully by his side through life's joys and challenges until the very end.
To know Ben was to know someone who lived life fully. He believed in enjoying the moment, sharing a laugh, and making meaningful connections with people. He had a remarkable ability to make others feel important, heard, and appreciated. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched countless lives and created bonds that will endure long after his passing.
Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we find comfort in the memories he leaves behind: the stories that made us laugh until we cried, the wisdom hidden beneath his humor, the kindness he showed so freely, and the unconditional love he gave to his family and friends. Ben's life was a reminder that success is measured not only by achievements but by the impact we have on others. By that measure, his life was truly extraordinary.
Benjamin Geoffrey Krahmer will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved. His laughter will echo in our memories, his stories will continue to be told, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him
