Bennie W Watson

Graveside services will be held at 10am on Monday, January 24, 2011, at Resthaven Memorial Park with Dr. Ken Horn officiating. Bennie was born on August 11, 1930, in McKinney, Texas, to the late Fred Raymond Watson, Sr., and Minnie Viola (Stephenson) Watson. He grew up in McKinney until the family moved to West Texas in 1940. He served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1956 as a radio operator. Once back in West Texas, Bennie worked for Rainbow Garage for over 20 years. He loved listening to police scanners when at home.

He was preceded in death by three sisters.

Those left to cherish his memories include three brothers: Albert Lee Watson and wife Coreen of Canyon Lake, Texas, Fred Raymond Watson, Jr., and wife Rebecca of Lubbock, and Richard K. Watson of Shallowater; and several nieces and nephews.
