Betty Shawn, loving wife and mother went peacefully to be with her savior Feb. 5, 2017. Betty was born in Punkin Center, TX May 5 1927, grew up in Electra, TX, and she met the love of her life, married and moved to Colorado City, TX.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school and leading the BYW group for many years. Betty loved the Lord, life and her family.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years Wayne, sons Stan and Tracy, Daughter-in laws Margie and Leslynn, Granddaughter Megan and husband Josh, great-granddaughter Lillian. She was preceded in death by her son Steve and grandson Corbin.
