Betty was born March 30, 1945 in Liberal, Kansas to Alford and Alta Myers (nee Snyder). They then moved to Betty’s family farm in 1976 and lived there until moving to Lubbock, Texas in 1982.
Betty devoted her life to her family while also pursuing her own hobbies. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Colorado mountains around Ouray. She and Steve took many trips, including San Francisco, Washington, DC, and Ohio. She also enjoyed crocheting and cake decorating, making many wonderful keepsakes for her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a favorite charity.
