Beverly Snodgrass, 68, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on November 8th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, creativity, and fierce love. She lived in Lubbock, TX with her husband and her youngest daughter, filling their home with books, art supplies, and the kind of quick wit that could brighten any room — or scorch anyone who dared mess with the people she loved.
Beverly was the kindest, funniest, and most caring person you could ever hope to meet. She had a gift for making people feel seen and supported, and an equally impressive gift for delivering a perfectly timed, lovingly lethal one-liner when the moment called for it. Her daughters inherited her love of reading — a passion she shared generously, even when it meant assigning them handwritten encyclopedia pages as punishment. (They survived, and they read.)
A born creator, Beverly saw the world with an artist’s eye. She poured her imagination into everything she touched, from beautifully hand-painted scrolls for friends to a full suit of armor for a small horse made entirely out of soda cans — a story that will be retold for generations.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy; her daughters, Amanda and Aubrey; and her younger brothers, Stan and Steve. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jeanette Higgins, who also chose November as their time to go — a pattern Beverly apparently decided to keep in the family, with a wink.
Beverly’s family invites everyone to celebrate her life with the same warmth, humor, and creativity she shared so freely.
