Billy Fisher

Billy Ray Fisher lifetime resident of Lubbock went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 9, at the age of 81.

His memory will forever be cherished by his wife of 58 years, Patsy, son; Jerry and wife Darla of Midland, daughter; Claudia of Carney, OK. and son; Todd of Lubbock and a brother, Tommy Fisher and wife Barbara of Buffalo Lake. He will be missed dearly by his grandchildren, Michael Fisher and wife, Tina of Midland, Charlsa DeLucia and husband, Casen of Midland, and Jeffrey Fisher of Lubbock; great grandchildren Trenton and Makenna Fisher of Midland.

Billy was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1952. He served as Past District Governor of Lions 2T-2. He was a founding member of Babe Ruth Baseball, and Green Lawn Church of Christ

Casket bearers will be Jerry Fisher, Todd Fisher, Michael Fisher, Casen DeLucia, Jeffrey Fisher, and great grandson, Trenton Fisher.

Visitation will be Friday, November 11, at Resthaven Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 12, at 1:00 pm at Green Lawn Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

The family request memorials are made to Children’s Home of Lubbock, Texas Boys Ranch, or Green Lawn Church of Christ building fund.
