Billy Petty, Jr., 83, of Lubbock, passed away August 7, 2011. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at 10:00 AM in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Billy was born September 28, 1927, in Birdtown, TX to parents Lillie (Smith) and William Petty.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Petty; three daughters: Barbara Serpa, Brenda Gonzalez, and Billie Gonzalez, all of Lubbock; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.
