Billy was born on October 29, 1927 in Temple, Texas to Edgar and Callie (Wheeler) Seay. He married the love of his life, Billie Ruth Lightner on March 5, 1948. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage before her death on April 27, 2013. Billie and Billy were founding and faithful members of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Mr. Seay was founder, owner and operator of Door Auto Sales and Service in Lubbock.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Dr. Gaylon Seay and wife, Deanie of Lubbock; grandchildren, Cody, Kasi, and Kati Seay, all of Lubbock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com
