The family of Bobby Newell will celebrate his life of 77 years at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Focal Pointe Fellowship in Lubbock, Texas. He passed on Thursday, August 25, 2022.
On November 7, 1944, Bobby Charles was born to Earl and Marsha Newell in Kermit, TX. He married Sandra Foster on October 14, 1967, in Acuff, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Newell; their children, Cindy (Jim) Stevens, Christa (Chris) Burtch, Carrie (Jessie) Sanders; grandchildren, Jacob (Jaylen) Burtch, Courtney Sanders, Madison Burtch, Tiffany (Seth) Hall, Hooper Stevens, Katelyn Burtch, Joshua Burtch, Sydney Stevens; great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Burtch, Collins Ruth Burtch; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Newell, and his mother, Marsha Newell.
The family of Bobby Newell has designated Focal Pointe Fellowship for memorial contributions donated in his memory.
