Boyd Preston Lane, Jr, 78,of Lubbock, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018. He was born in July of 1939 in Welch, West Virginia.

Boyd was retired from the military having served 24 years in the Air Force. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a loving husband, father, and brother.

Boyd is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Teruko Lane,of Lubbock, two children; Rosemary Berry and husband James,of Glendale, AZ, John Lane and wife, Tara of Arlington, TX and three grandchildren; Jameson and Tanyon Berry and Zachary Lane, one brother; Jimmy Lane and one sister; Rachel Miller.

Boyd was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. A family gathering and time of visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home.
