Brian Keith Drum, 52, loving husband to Shana and proud father to Cole, passed into the arms of Jesus on July 13th. He was the son of Pam and Kenny Drum and brother of Joey (Jessi) and Kendra (Kurt). Uncle Brian was a name he enjoyed hearing from Ramie, Jadee, Anton, Zane, Will, and Chloe. He had a great relationship with all his outlaws; Nanny, Poppy, Rick (Cindy), and Brandi (Jason). His newest family member, Kelsey, was his daughter-in-love.
Brian owned and operated Brian Drum Plumbing, a company specializing in new construction plumbing, heating, and air conditioning. For 24 years he took great pride in providing quality work to builders in the Lubbock and surrounding area.
Brian was a cowboy at heart, and his passion was team roping. He built that love into another successful business, 3D Roping Productions. Team ropers from Las Vegas, NM, to Levelland to Wichita Falls, TX, were fortunate to participate in the Coors OTRA and SZS production throughout the year.
Brian never met a stranger and had a multitude of friends. He would encourage every one of us to raise our boys into strong men, and instill in our youth that they can do anything they set their minds to. Brian, keep swinging your rope, because in heaven, you never miss. You are deeply loved and will be missed by so many.
In lieu of flowers the family would love a donation in Brian's name to the ABC Rodeo to support the Boy's and Girl's Club or a donation in Brian's name to Easy R Equine Rescue.
Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
