Carl Morgan Russell Sr.

Carl was a graduate of Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech University, University of Maryland and Draughon's Business College. He was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church and shared his beautiful voice as a member of the church choir for many years. He was a beloved father & "PawPaw", "Pops", & "Grandpa" to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by his family.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Russell of Lubbock and his granddaughter Brandi Russell of Snyder.

He is survived by his son Carl Morgan Russell, Jr & wife Teresa of Lubbock, his son Lonnie Russell of Snyder, his grandchildren: Ashley Russell of Lubbock, Chad Russell & wife Tanya of Lubbock, and Chelsea Russell of Rotan. Carl had 10 great-grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Chase, Brody, Avalynn, Jaxon, Evan, Tate, Olivia, Beau, Leighton, and Henleigh.

Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2025, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be at 10am Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Southcrest Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Nick Watts. Graveside services will be at Resthaven Cemetery December 2, 2025, at 11am.
