Carl Lester Threet

Carl Lester Threet passed away on December 26th, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas.

He was born April 27th, 1930 in Lubbock, Texas to George Oren and Mary Angeline.

Threet and was the youngest of 11 children. Carl shared his life with his bride of 70 years, Della Geneva Threet.

Carl was a veteran of the United States Army and later became a long haul truck driver. When not driving, he spent time with his family and enjoyed playing bingo and dominoes.

He was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Threet, his grandsons Carl and John Johnson and great grandson Zachary Johnson.

He is survived by his sons Clayton Threet and wife Vicky; Johnny Threet and wife Gail; daughters Mary Beard and husband Dwaine; and Diann Johnson. Grandchildren Shane Threet and fiance Dusty Kirk; Alesha Glover and husband Cameron; Iwana Talley and husband Cannon; Hillary Deffebach and husband Dan; Carrie Gray and husband Barrett; Hollie Hendrix and husband Kyle; April Moss and husband Scott; and Todd Threet as well as 14 great grandchildren.
