Carmello Morales

A celebration of life service for Carmello and his wife Argelia “Archie” Morales (dec. December 9, 2020), will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79407.

Carmello was raised in Plainview, Texas and after serving 4 years in the Air Force, Carmello became an HVAC technician and proudly worked for over 25 years in the Texas Tech University Operations Division, Building Maintenance & Construction. He retired from TTU but worked for another 5 years for the City of Lubbock before finally deciding to retire for good to enjoy time with family and friends.

In his retirement, Carmello and his wife Archie loved to travel and were often on the road, either to visit family and friends or take part in church activities. They were active and beloved members of their church, Christian Life Center. Carmello was also a classic car enthusiast and he loved attending car shows with his pride and joy, his award winning 1965 Ford Falcon.

Carmello was generous and kind-hearted, not the talkative type, but he knew when and where to use his words. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all. While he is survived by many family and friends, he is irreplaceable in the hearts of all that knew him.
