Carolyn Sue Duden, 68, passed away Tuesday June 3, 2014 at her home in Wolfforth. She was born December 14, 1945 in Pontiac MI to Ralph and Violet Gjelhaug. Carolyn moved to Clovis NM in 1970 and to Artesia, NM in 2001 before coming to Lubbock in 2013. She retired as an Educational Diagnostician from Carlsbad NM Municipal Schools after teaching in Clovis and Artesia.
Survivors include, 2 daughters, Sarah Eulenbach and husband Jay of Lubbock and Kristen Hinkson of Rochester Hills, MI; her mother Violet O’Donnell of Lehigh Acres, FL; sister Sharon Moriarty and husband Jerry; brother Ron Gjelhaug and wife Ruby; grandchildren, Trevor, Andrew, Haley, Griffin, Davis, Darby, Jayson and Boden.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 10 am in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home followed by burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
