Surrounded by family on November 2nd, mom got her angel wings, and was called home by our precious Lord Jesus Christ.

As many of you know mom was our everything. She truly exemplified what love and unity was all about. She was loving, caring, funny, loved people so much (kept in touch with many), loved family gatherings, loved to care for others, loved her grandkids. Mom was the family photographer (printed copies at CVS and passed them out to the family), diary keeper (journaled daily what was happening in the family-Diana and I have some great memories because of this), loved a good joke (although most of the time she was the joke - but she loved it), she loved a good laugh especially if you cried with that laugh. She would say “oh that was a good one”.

The little things will be missed the most like our daily calls giving her all the “news” of our day. Especially when you have had a long day and she answers the phone —“ hi my darling, hi toots, or hi honey how was your day” she waited impatiently (lol) for her call.

Mom our hearts are broken right now but we will remember that you were our first best friend and we must remember “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Diana Bednarz (Russell) and Donna Stewart (Bobby); grandchildren: Halie Tindol, Trey CdeBaca, Kaitlynn Bednarz, Cameron Bednarz and Carson Bednarz; sister, Diane Tratz; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019, from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. A service will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Resthaven Funeral Home with a graveside to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Carolyn adopted the Williams family as her own & we all loved her. She always sent me family pictures because I was to far away to visit our family & never forgot to send a Christmas card.
Thru the years when I would visit my mom she always made it a point to see me & we had a lot of laughs.
Rest In Peace my friend. I will always love you.

Carolyn was a wonderful loving and caring person, Me & my husband known her for the 22 years that she lived next door to us. My heart is broken because I know I am not going to here her Voice on the phone when she would call me and say Hey Girl what you up to, but I know she’s with our Lord, no longer suffering she’s smiling down at us from heaven. And to Carolyn’s Family May the Lord Rap his loving arms around you in this time of pain and sorrow.

To the Williams Family,

What a sweet and loving tribute to your mom. I don't recall if I ever met her - surely I did at one of those many soccer games we all attended over the years - but she sounds like the perfect mom any girls could hope for in their lives. Reading about her makes me better understand why you are such a sweet person, Donna. Must surely have gotten it from your mom. We are thinking of you all and praying for the Lord's comfort for you today and moving forward as it gets even more difficult as everyone tries to return to their routines. Take care.
