Ed moved to Lubbock at age 5 and has lived in this area all of his life. Ed owned and operated clothing stores, his family business, for many years on Broadway. Bray’s Toggery, Bray’s Ladies Sportswear and Kathy’s Junior Fashions. All three stores moved to the South Plains Mall shortly after it opened and were there for almost 10 years.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, two sons: Thomas Edmund Bray and Jeffrey Bruce Bray. He is survived by his wife, Sonja K. Bray, two daughters; Kathy Paulson and husband Paul, Carol Ross and husband Jeff, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
